Available 24x7 through the secure classroom link, learners can join a Playback Room alone or in groups of up to 10. Engageli Playback Rooms provide an opportunity for learners to engage with class material on their own time, to make up missed classes, review previous class recordings, or collaborate with their peers.
Engageli is optimized so that even low-bandwidth users can view all participant video feeds and shared video resources without degradation. Engageli’s focus on effective learning makes it well suited for non-traditional learners who often struggle to adapt to a typical classroom setting and benefit from multi-modal flexibility. The platform is designed for accessibility and to protect learner privacy with state-of-the-art encryption, unlike any other platform. By default, learner video and audio are not recorded, unless they raise their hands to address the entire class.
Engageli is browser-based and compatible with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, but also offers mobile access through an iOS Apple mobile application, with Android in development. Instructors can utilize third-party content, instructor-generated content on Engageli, or native learning content, as well as test learner comprehension with integrated formative assessments. On Engageli, instructors and administrators can also view or download real-time learner attendance and engagement data within the product, allowing them to provide tailored feedback and adjust class approaches. Institutions can also use learner engagement data to gain a greater understanding of learner interactions with the instructor, content, and each other to create meaningful learning experiences.
